USO Central Florida Named Nonprofit of the Year Finalist
On June 11th, USO Central Florida was honored to be recognized as a finalist at the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2015 Nonprofit of the Year Awards luncheon. Almost 500 community supporters gathered at MOSI in Tampa to celebrate the strength and impact of the finalists.
Since its inception in 2005, the awards program attempts to recognize organizations that demonstrate strong financial best practices and lean management structures that help them meet their service goals. They are the organizations that provide community and health services. They care for people, animals and the environment alike. They are some of the best nonprofits in Tampa Bay.
Congratulations to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation for taking home the top honor of Nonprofit of the Year in the Health and Human Services category!
